Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a home? Come visit Paros in style. Our home has stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea and crimson sunsets in the evening. The village of Alyki is on the southern part of the island, which is naturally protected from winds and has some of the calmest and clearest waters in Paros. Alyki is a fishing village where you can find fisherman bringing in their daily catch. Local restaurants display octopus drying in the sun and fish tanks with crab and lobster for the kids to view.
The building is 2 stories with our house on the top floor. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each room. Both rooms have air conditioning. Upon request, we can add a folding bed for a child (10 yrs and under) or portable crib for a baby up to 2 yrs old to the master bedroom. The master has a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, toilet and sink. The other bathroom is located in the common area and has a shower, toilet and sink. The entire home is tiled with marble floor. The common area (dining room, living room and kitchen) is open concept with air conditioning. The dining room has a table with 6 chairs. The living room has 2 small sofas that also have a pullout mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, sink, and microwave, along with cups, plates, utensils, pots and pans, etc for you to prepare and eat your meals. There is a television in the master bedroom and a television with a DVD player in the living area. Internet is available from June to the end of September.
The amazing outdoor living space is where you will want to be! The area is very large (55 sq meters) and is fully enclosed with a 3 ft. high concrete wall (childproof for young children). It is also partially shaded to allow relief from the afternoon sun. Here you will enjoy family meals with wonderful views of the sea, sunsets, stars and moon. We also provide a BBQ on the veranda along with tables and chairs. Although we don't allow smoking in the home, you are free to smoke on the veranda. Lastly, we also have a men's bicycle available for use to run errands around town or for exercise.
Our home is down the street from a supermarket, bakery, and fruit/vegetable market. Close to all of your immediate needs so you can stock up on groceries, paper goods and anything else you require for your stay. We are a 10 minute walk to the main village of Aliki, 10 minute drive to the ferry to Antiparos, 15 minute drive to Parikia (Port), or you can take a bus which is available near the supermarket. Rental cars are available at the Port and the airport and allow you to explore the island at your leisure. Paros is small enough that you can see it all, and close enough to other islands (Santorini, Mykonos, Antiparos, Naxos) that you can do a day trip.
Paros has a beautiful history with so many things to see and do. The culture and food are rich and the people are full of life
