I will start by saying that it's a nice place, but it is not quite as advertised. It is not a four bedroom as stated, unless you call the addict crawl space thru a half door that we found by mistake a bedroom. That area has a whole bunch of bare mattresses in there which we did not use. Yes it sleeps 10. Two in a master bedroom and two in the other bedroom and up the spiral steps to the loft there are 6 twin beds.
The other thing is that I didn't see anywhere where it tells you that it's on the third floor. You have to climb four flights of steps to get there. This is really hard on elderly and handicap persons. No way to get a wheelchair up there.
The fire place is hard to get going, this is not the usual fireplace. No instructions.
We paid close to $100 for cleaning fees, yet we were told by text msg to gather all sheets and towels and place in certain place, and to be sure all trash is out. Really! I would clean the place for $100.
The caretaker sent us a msg as to what time we were getting out, said we could be there all day since the condo was not rented on our last day. Sent msg we would be out by noon.
We locked the door and started down stairs( several trips to get everything up when you arrive and several trips down when you leave.) Well there to greet us downstairs was the caretaker, told us don't lock the door, I don't have a key. To late, already locked with the keys inside. We weren't going to the leave the condo open.
She said was going to call a locksmith and would have probably deducted the cost from the $400 deposit, but than remembered a tenant had a 30 foot ladder which she and my son went to go get. My son climbed the 30 ft ladder to the third floor and luckily the balcony door was opened.
Not comfortable for four couples, even though it sleeps 10, two couples have to sleep in the loft area with 6 twin beds. Two of the beds are bunk beds.
We never did communicate with the owner just the caretaker.
