Ancient and Modern are combined together in accurate and elegant lines. Guests can enjoy completely private corners, surrounded by stylistic details that create an end of the 19th century atmosphere. The earthen floor makes rooms warmer, and matches elegantly with the wooden furniture. The light and shadow plays are delicate and vigorous at the same time, as if they try to hide some very precious secret.
All the rooms were renovated respecting their original structure, taken care of down to the finest detail, and equipped with air conditioning, heating system, private bathroom, Wi-Fi.
Earthen tiles have been used for the floors, while the internal stairway is in "pietra serena" (light sky blue colour sandstone), and the beams of the ceiling are fully exposed. Everything has been realised in order to satisfy at the best the needs of every guest.
The holiday farmhouse All'Ombra del Tiglio is in Pistoia, in one of the most charming areas of Tuscany and a few kilometres from Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Vinci. The holiday farmhouse, obtained from an ancient kiln of the 1700s, recalls the Tuscan life style of living well in harmony with the environment. Our guests can enjoy the pleasures of their holiday, immersed in the peace and perfumes of the vineyards and olive groves. With the most important cities of art nearby.
The Farm is destined to the production of extra virgin olive oil, and to the Chianti Montalbano DOC wine.
In our garden, you can find a great variety of fruit and a small vegetable garden.
Our guests can enjoy hours of relaxing at the small private pool attached, making available from the Properties of the structure.
The holiday farmhouse All'Ombra del Tiglio has a fantastic view, immersed in silence and nature. The surrounding land offers a gorgeous landscape all year round; with a unique light, that enshrouds every single detail. The property overlooks the waterfall of the Vincio River, a picturesque and charming view. Wonderful itineraries are waiting for those who love walking, as the natural one along the Ombrone torrent or the long itinerary that leads to the ancient "San Francesco Convent" in Giaccherino, which dates back to the early years of the XIII century, and the Romanesque Pieve (parish church) of San Michele.
Going through the roads of the historical centre of Pistoia, you find yourself in an atmosphere out of time, the typical shops, the wooden doors, the ancient stone counters used by the shop owners to exhibit their goods. Here you can find any
kind of activity: local handmade products, restaurants, gastronomic specialities, and other commercial realities. We suddenly find ourselves in an ancient medieval hamlet: the city of Pistoia, with its narrow
roads, squares, and shops, is an ideal hideaway.
