“I have enjoyed travelling to many countries in Europe, USA & Japan. I owned a French Farmhouse (Holiday Home) for 5 years and apartments in Turkey (Holiday Home) before moving to NZ.
Having been involved in the wine industry for more than 20 years both in the UK and NZ, and selling wines from all over the world, I am more than happy to help and share experiences with guests. There are heaps of good quality vineyards in the Marlborough region, we are spoilt for choice. I also have good knowledge of wineries, places to visit and things to do in other regions in NZ.
Speaking French and Spanish has been a great asset when I lived on the other side of the world (but now I need more practice please) and would love to be able to converse with guests. Welcome to all French and Spanish speaking visitors.
My older brother is deaf and as a family we can all converse with him. International Deaf travellers are more than welcome in our home. Having travelled extensively throughout New Zealand it would be a pleasure to help visitors with travel planning during their stay in NZ, recommending good hikes and walks in both this area and other regions throughout the country." -Wendy Taylor.
“ I was a qualified Plumbing & Heating installer in Wales. I am now a Refrigeration Engineer based in Blenheim as have travelled to Australia, South Korea, Thailand and the USA to install Freeze Dryers.
I enjoy all sorts of sporting and outdoor activities including rugby, cycling, diving, fishing, hunting, soccer. I am than happy to chat about and give advice on any of the above and what is available in the Marlborough and wider regions.
We are both very much looking forward to giving you a warm welcome and making your stay enjoyable with lots of lovely memories to take back to your home country and share with your friends and families.”
