Where to begin? First of all, don't look any further, the farm is BEAUTIFUL!!! The guest suite is very private and spacious and the views from the bedroom are breathtaking. Looking out the bedroom window you see a beautiful pool and a barn just beyond that and green rolling hills featuring two grazing horses and a small pond. The space is situated above the garage, it's very private and welcoming and quiet (never even heard the garage door open or close). A large King bed, leather couch and big TV and a private bathroom and shower- all totally secluded to yourself.
Nancy is a great host, she really made it feel like a bed and breakfast and wasn't intrusive in the slightest. And the breakfast...man these two go all out. Nancy gave a list of options for breakfast food, and they mean business- crepes, cinnamon rolls, etc, Howard is a breakfast master. Seriously, this breakfast beats most restaurants, hands down. They also have a super sweet boarder collie, which they could totally put in another room if you needed. But she is very kind and loves fetch. I think there was also one or two cats that pretty much just roam the property.
What was so crazy about this location was how secluded and in the country it feels, but is such a short drive (10 mins) to a huge mall, lots of restaurants, target and much more. Seems like a good location to anyone who is visiting Chapel Hill, Durham or Raleigh. I highly recommend Nancy's place, I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am in town!
