Warm, inviting and well furnished cabin nestled in the Stanislaus forest just 30 minutes from Yosemite's hiway 120 entrance. Full kitchen, bbq, and bath with soaking tub awaits your weekend retreat. Secluded setting, bocce court and private 'must try' outdoor shower. Enjoy the majesty of Yosemite - the Crown Jewel of National Parks by day and then warm by the stone hearth fireplace for a romantic cozy evening. There is a small grocery (with a fair wine selection), hardware store, local mechanic, coin operated laundry, hair salon and restaurant in our village. We are located at 3200 ft elevation which makes for comfy cool summer nights and occasional (approx 5 snowfalls per year) - and expect bright sunny days.
Nearby is trout stream fishing (guide service available), hiking trails and waterfalls.
We have plenty of 'local knowledge' and experience with all the Yosemite has to offer - hiking, skiing, swimming, rafting, ice skating, dining and biking.
We have enjoyed hosting friends from; Canada, Spain, Brasil and welcome international visitors.
(Our two labradors - Lilly & Wags are available for petting should anyone need a 'dog-fix' during your stay.)
Come be our guests at Quail Crossing,
