**Please Note: Legal under NYC statutes** Beautiful art and antique filled apartment in one of Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods. A bright, sunny space literally steps from the subway and Smith Street's restaurant row. Lots of great restaurants, cafes, and boutiques within walking distance.
A fun and funky floor-thru apartment in a Victorian-era home. Lots of great original detail including hardwood floors, tin ceilings, and a marble fireplace (non-working, sorry!)
The space features one large master bedroom with king size bed and a second smaller room with a twin bed. The second bedroom is adjoining with door but can also be accessed through the hallway for privacy. It is ideal for a couple or family with child, but can comfortably handle three adults. There is plenty of closet space and storage in the master bedroom.
A sunny, fully equipped kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker.
Please note: Although this building has been recently renovated, it is well over 100 years old and is full of the sort of quirky charm that comes with age (sloping floors, creaky floor boards, etc.) If you are seeking modern minimalist living, this is not it. It's a fun, funky apartment in a great neighborhood.
Also, please remember that Brooklyn is a bustling urban environment. While this neighborhood is considered sedate by New York City standards, there is usually a steady flow of traffic in the vicinity (both cars and people). The bedroom does face street-side and there could possibly be noise from below on occasion. In the event that anyone in your traveling party is unusually sensitive to sound, we have a white noise machine we can lend you, but we must stress that it is a city apartment and it is best to set your expectations accordingly..
Private entrance and hallway. The apartment is up one and a half flights of stairs and is not handicapped accessible. The space is somewhat child proofed but we will do our best to accommodate specific needs with sufficient notice. There is a "Pack and Play" crib and booster high chair available for your use.

Другие важные подробности
As you might expect when the hosts are an art director and an art and antique dealer the decor is frequently changing, always interesting, and possibly even available for purchase, if so inclined. The photos are of the actual apartment and representative of the decor at any given time but the specific furnishings and art may vary from time to time. Please feel free to inquire about specifics or just be pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely no smoking on premises.
Additional guests only with approval.
This is a family oriented building with the owners on site. No parties or excessive noise. While the apartment has a separate private entrance, this is our home and we expect all guests to be considerate and respect that.
