Entrance is on the lower ground floor, where the 2 bedrooms and bathroom are situated. There is a large walled garden at the back which has also recently been landscaped - the garden can be accessed from downstairs, or via the roof terrace off the kitchen. The roof terrace has an outdoor heat lamp, and there is lighting on the terrace and in the garden.
The living room and kitchen area is on the upper floor. The study/third bedroom is on a mezzanine level off the stairs.
When arriving, go down the stairs to the front door - don't try and go in the door upstairs as that leads to a different flat!
Mildmay Road is a beautiful street, part of the Newington Green conservation area and situated very close to lively and trendy Dalston. Angel, Stoke Newington and Shoreditch all close by.
I will usually be out of the country, but will be available to help with any questions or problems that arise. I also have friends that live very nearby if they need to be called upon.
The washing machine is available to use.
Fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit in the utility room (downstairs).

No smoking indoors (fine in the garden). No loud noise/music after 10pm.
Please ensure the metal gate at front of property is locked when leaving the house. No need to lock it when you are in the flat.
No shoes upstairs or in the bedrooms. Please take them off in the hallway.
No glasses, wooden utensils or sharp knives in the dishwasher.
Please wipe up any spillages on the kitchen work surface immediately to prevent staining.
The cutlery drawer is a "hidden" drawer. To open it, open the large drawer in the kitchen to expose the cutlery drawer. PUSH the drawer (do not pull) to release it.
The final thing I ask is that you treat my home courteously, as you would your own :)
