The apartment is a large spacious, open plan studio on the Hoboken/Jersey City border, surrounded by spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Hoboken is the famous "Mile Square City" that's social scene has it ranked as the 2015 no 1 hipster city in the US.
The apartment is a spacious studio with a fixed-in 4-foot tall partition separating the queen-size bed from the living space. The living space has a pull-out double leather sofabed that can accommodate an extra two people. It is in a quiet area and well-lit. There is plenty of wardrobe space, full-size mirrors as well as a desk and chair. The newly-fitted bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and storage space. The kitchen contains an oven and stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, lean grilling machine, a table and chairs plus cupboard space.
Guests will receive the contents of a welcome basket upon arrival, containing a complimentary bottle of wine, bread, cereal, chips and fruit. Guests are also welcome to coffee and tea. There is a kitchen ceiling fan as well as a large mobile fan, an electric fireplace and radiator heating and an AC unit fitted into the window during summertime. A hairdryer, towel, iron and an assortment of shampoo and soap are also available as is wifi. There are two laundry rooms in the building with a washer and dryer. A wash followed by a dry cycle will cost $1.75 each. The double bed and sofabed can accommodate up to four people belonging to the same group booking.
As it is a studio, it is open-plan and there are no doors, except on the bathroom and a separate room where my husband and I sleep if we are at home, which isn't often. Guests will have the main studio space to themselves. The kitchen and bathroom will be shared with the two of us, but we are rarely at home during the daytime. There is a partition between the guest beds (as seen in the photos), and guests are given the privacy that they need.

Guests will be given as much privacy as is required. However, as an experienced tour guide, I can offer a free and comprehensive tour of Hoboken. I can also advise on where to visit in NYC and how to get there.
Другие важные подробности
The 123 bus from Port Authority/Times Square in Midtown Manhattan (a popular drop-off from multiple airports and national bus transit) will drop you off just across the street from the apartment. Newark Airport is close by and JFK and LaGuardia airports are accessible via public transportation.
If walking here from Hoboken Terminal (15/20 minutes), there are 100 steps up the cliff-side. There is a slope road right next to the steps for those who don't wish to climb as well as an elevator several blocks away. If you have heavy luggage, in this instance I'd advise a taxi or Uber from Hoboken PATH Station. There are always plenty outside and the fare is $12 (much less with an Uber).
Guests are required to respect the neighbors and remain quiet during night hours. Check-out time is 9am.

I'm an easy going history obsessive as well as a freelance writer and theatre critic. With regards to my hosting, we're rarely at home during the daytime and our sleeping quarters are in a separate room. I'm more than happy to accommodate your stay and assist you with anything you might need. I can also give you a detailed tour of the area should you so wish.
