Newly renovated loft, set on the top floor of a historical house- built ca 1840- for unique experiences, for visitors searching for traditional architecture, contemporary design, amazing views and perfect location.
1. Check-in is 3 pm (15:00). Checkout is 12 am (12:00). We will gladly accommodate different arrival and departure times to the best of our availability.
2. If possible, tell us your scheduled arrival time. This will help us synchronize ourselves with your arrival. Feel free to send a text or call, when you are in route.
Apart from that, normal rules of courtesy apply.
Please be quiet and respectful both inside and outside the loft.
Try to keep the number of people over as to not exceed 6 visitors, including yourself.
Our neighbors are usually quiet, except for the neighbors´ dogs that will bark at passers by. One of the neighbours has a rooster. Car traffic comes and goes; the house is not secluded. The house is in direct contact with the movements of its vicinities. But this is still a residential neighborhood, please be mindful of that.
You will receive a house manual that includes useful contacts, information on how things work within the house, as well as location and how to get around.
Let us know if something breaks, or if you break something. This way we can fix or replace, whatever needs fixing or replacing.
Accommodation is set for 2 people with 1 possible extra person/child. Please let us know in advance how many you are.
Liability and insurance
We do not take out travel insurance for you. You should make your own arrangements for cover in respect of sickness, accident, or loss during your stay, within or beyond the house, including travel to and from the house.
We are a mother, Isabel, and daughter, Roberta, who live between Brazil, Switzerland and Sweden.
Isabel is an architect working with heritage, and Roberta is an artist working with art, craft and design.
We have lived and live in different parts of the world, but Brazil is our home, where we always come back to.
We love to cook and bake; we are interested in local culture, wherever local is, design, art, architecture.
We are searching for the essence of things and places, and always looking into coming closer to original and authentic experiences.
We want to share who we are by sharing our house with you, through the objects we have on the shelves, the furniture, the lighting. They tell a story about us, places we have been and things that we love.
