Laryssa, thank you so much for the review.
So glad you enjoyed the raspberries, there was tonnes of them this year with the unexpected heat wave we were encountering when you guys came...hence the smells being intensified!
Unfortunately, you are the first to only give us 3 stars, something a super host doesn't like to see! Having reviewed all your information, public and private, good, but more importantly the negative, we feel that it was all that comes with being on a working dairy farm. We have pigs, they poo and it smells, we have birds that nest on the eves of our houses, something we like to see here on the farm, they poo also, and we are also a "green" lodging, where possible; we dry our laundry outside, to avoid higher electricity bills (as you saw we have our own wind turbine which we heavily invested in to try and harness some renewable energy).
I was glad to see that overall you enjoyed your experience with us (as I type this the cockerel is crowing mad at 3:30 in the afternoon!!). I am glad the girls had a great time and I sincerely hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday in Ireland.
P.S. Some of the towels and cobwebs in the high eves (finally with the help of a handy man and a ladder!) have been replaced...sometimes you need to get a gentle shove from a guest to do something you know should of been done weeks back!
