As for Italian law, every host in Rome must collect in cash a city tax of Euro 3,5 per person per night (children under 10 y o exempted) and pay it to Comune di Roma.

This information is written on a description page and on our house rules. Since Airbnb is still not collecting this kind of payments in Rome, it's usually never involved. All the information regarding this extra payments was also included in a welcome message you have received after a booking. If not agree with our terms and conditions and/or house rules, our guests are able to cancel a reservation with no any penalty within 7 days before arrival. Receipts for every payment has been sent by email and Airbnb platform and you, Matthias, have confirmed a reception.
You didn't report any problem with WiFi during your stay, but fortunately next guests did, allowing us to solve the issue in 30 min replacing a modem.
Considering what has been said before, we would invite our guests to carefully read all information regarding a journey, in order to avoid unpleasant communication errors. We are working hard to make our guests' experience a most fantastic and happy when we're allowed to do so.
