We came from the west coast and thought we'd stay a year or 2. We fell in love with the area and started the Painted Turtle Lake Cottage shortly after.
My wife Deanna is a flight attendant and travels internationally when she is not helping me with the cottage and our new food truck venture in Hudson. Before that , I had been
in the hotel business for 20 years and Deanna's family had a bed and breakfast and restaurant in Napa Valley, Calif.
We love trying new restaurants and taking drives around the Hudson Valley and of course traveling the world! We have 2 dogs, a cat and free range chickens on the property. We enjoy sharing our favorite places , things to do, and restaurants with our guests.
