Orissa and Nick, we apologize you found your accomodations and its garden whirlpool tub less than satisfactory. Although the water supplying our farm and B&B is provided by the city, as you are aware our Inn sits at a higher elevation than street level and as such we must relay on a pumping system to bring the water into the multi-level Inn. As such it often takes up to 45 minutes to fill the tub. However, this is the first that we've heard from our guests regarding the cooler water temperatures. For safety reasons, the water supplied to our guest rooms is set at 105 degrees; thank you for alerting us to the concern, we will check on the heaters' elements immediately, to ensure there correct operation.
As for the paper thin walls, we're again surprised by this review of the suite. The room you occupied is located the farthest from our private quarters and no other guests were occupying the Inn the night of your visit. With the exception of my husband who was in our private basement quarters, our personal dog and myself working on the opposite end of the Inn in our farm offices, you had the inn to yourselves.
I wish you had brought these concerns to my attention before your departure. As full-time innkeepers we are accessible to our guests 24/7. In fact, as I explained upon your check-in I would be working late, and regardless of the time of day or night, I would be accessible, I was just a call away. However, as you've stated given the short time of less than 3 hours between your check-in and your untimely check-out due to a family emergency, and the lack of communication to let me know there were concerns, I was unable to rectify the issues, and ensure you had a satisfactory stay in our B&B.
To future guests, we hope you will read all of our reviews, and if concerns arise during your stay with us, you notify us immediately so that we may address them onsite before your departure. Deborah & Jim
