Apt is attached to main house w own entry and parking. Against the mountains and Snake River. Wild life, private and views. Comfortable and cozy on a ranchette and 12 min from town. I'm flexible with blocked days I have for cleaning and prep.
This private apartment has incredible views, full bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchenette and washer and dryer. There is a King size bed, two roll away beds and a futon mattress. This is our home, you may find homey items, such as a bar of soap in the tub. Please don't be offended. Most of the time, I take them out, I've been known to overlook this (once). We don't drink coffee but have a French Press and a coffee maker for your use. I'm not sure you'd appreciate the coffee I'd chose for you to drink, however guests do leave some behind as a treat for the next guest. This is a unique property. It is a small ranch with horses and other ranch animals. The Snake River runs along one side of the property with National Forest running along two sides. There are two unfenced ponds and a small stream that runs through the property as well. It's not uncommon to wake up to moose in the pond, elk in the pasture, and lot's of other wildlife to go with the ranch animals. Trails go from our pastures up the mountain and along the river for miles and miles. We have two very friendly goats that will knock on your door or jump in your car. Just give them a hard shove. They're always looking for a new BFF
Plenty of parking, private entry to apartment. The Guest House, Main House and Bunk House are off limits unless those have been included in the original agreement. Please ask me, we are pretty open.

5 person hot tub seasonably available. Large out door deck upon request
The light switches turn the lamp by the window off/on. If it is turned off at it's base the light switches won't work. It does get confusing and I sometimes wonder if the electrician did this to confuse us LOL The kitchen light switch is BEHIND the fridge. It does make it inconvenient to reach for it, please contact me if you can't find it. If you use the dryer please clean the lint vent so your clothes can dry. Laundry detergent and other amenities are available for you next to the washer.
For all guests:
•No smoking on premises!
•Drive slowly into the property.
•Please do not go in the barns or shop without your host.
•Enjoy a cocktail or two with dinner, but drunken conduct isn't appropriate.
•No parties, no tobacco products, including chew; No illegal drugs (Marijuana is not legal in Wyoming)
•Quiet hours are 10pm-8am weeknights; 11pm-9am weekends.
•Clean up after yourself and leave the place as clean as you found it.
•No Pets allowed
•We have fairly set feeding schedules for the animals and are happy to have you give us a hand during their regular feeding (let us know if you want to participate). Other than that, please don't feed the animals.
•Our animals are all friendly… and they are animals. You're welcome to pet them from outside their fences. Please don't go inside the pens as it puts you and the animals at risk.
•Respect the wildlife. Don't approach moose, bear, deer or elk in pastures or even in the yard. Enjoy them from afar.
Rules with Children
•This is a great property for children. We have large grassy play areas, and outdoor activities like horseshoes and trampolines that children are welcome to use.
•AND ADULT MUST BE WITH CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES OUTSIDE OF THE APARTMENT. Between the streams, ponds, river, farm animals, wild animals, there are many opportunities for an unaccompanied child to be injured.
•In particular, the hay barn is off limits, as tempting as climbing to the top of the hay bales might be.
•Please hold small children around the livestock and other animals
•If you take children down by the Snake River, please have them wear life vests (Ask if you want to borrow some, we have a big supply). The river is fairly swift where it passes the property.

My late husband and I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming 26 years ago and fell in love with it. He was a veterinarian, so animals have always had a big part in our lives. I can't imagine a better place to raise our 7 daughters, and our little ranch became known as The 7 Sisters Ranch.
I've remarried, and my new husband brought six children of his own including two more daughters to go with 4 boys. The 7 Sisters Ranch is now the 9 sisters and 4 brothers ranch even though the 7 Sisters name has stuck.
At any given time we've got 6-10 horses, 3-5 steers, a dozen chickens,a goat, and a bunch of barn cats that make sure we don't have any mice problems. The pond outside the master bedroom window is home to our pet ducks who start quacking away each morning when they hear my husband and I start talking. I can't help but smile.
As a family, we regularly enjoy all there is to offer here in this beautiful valley. Our small ranch is bordered on one side by the Snake River and on two sides by national forest. Literally from our back yard we go hiking, horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, sledding, hunting, wildlife watching and take amazing photography . Within minutes we are skiing at the top ski resort in the country. Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, world class whitewater, fishing, snowmobiling are all right here... And we do it all.
With 13 children (most of them married or in college) spread over 3 states, and 5 grand children, there's never a dull moment.
