This space is very private
Hi, we have recently finished building a unique solar passive straw bale home down in a beach side suburb called Gnarabup in the S.W. of W.Australia.
Our corner of paradise.
The room is large and airy with private bathroom and separate entrance. [Photos on request].
We are close to some of Australia's best surf breaks and wonderful wineries with award winning restaurants.
Gnarabup has a restaurant and beachside cafe - all a short walk from home. In fact you could spend your time here without ever feeling the need to drive, especially if you make use of our two bikes!
Margaret River, our closest town, is about 10 minutes away by car and although small has plenty to buy, eat and drink, if shopping is your way to unwind.
small outdoor courtyard with native garden.
Lovely space to eat breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

I love the outdoors, walking with my dog.
I currently work part time in Margaret River as does my partner Gordon.
I have been travelling since I was old enough to leave home [Hull, Yorkshire, U.K.] and really appreciate arriving in a new place and finding that 'perfect' place to stay, whether it's for a couple of nights or a few months.
Both Gordon and I have spent many years travelling and teaching English in incredibly exciting and diverse countries - Lebanon and Morocco, to name just two!
When I lived in London I was a chef and continue to have a great love of food and experimenting with 'fusion' food. You may get to try my cooking for your self when you come and stay!
Since moving here and designing and building our beautiful home I haven't felt such a need to travel as we live in one of the best places on the planet!
Thankfully not too many people have discovered this yet, so we still have lots of beautiful unspoilt beaches and forests.
Gordon, my partner, works locally as a tour guide, taking guests out on canoe tours on the Margaret River and visiting local wineries.
He's also a keen surfer and kayaker and swims most days at our local beach with our dog Leela.
Small dogs are welcomed here as long as they are fully house trained and friendly!
