Set in the beautiful and calm countryside close to the market town of Le Bugue is this perigordian house.
We live on the property and have a completely separate house that we are making available to rent. Look in the pictures and you will see an aerial photo that shows the layout of the houses.
We have 2 dogs (Micha and Milo) that live with us. They are indoor dogs and are not left outdoors. We do sometimes walk them around the grounds on leashes.
The grounds are 14 hectares (35 acres).
Set on a hill in the beautiful Dordogne countryside surrounded by 14 hectares of grounds. We are equidistant to Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat. It makes it easy for you to plan outings to the popular areas in the region.
The house has quality furniture and fixtures. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and all the dishes and cutlery that would be needed.
You have access to the entire two story guest house. There is ample parking on the property. You have your own entrances and a covered patio with a large table and 6 chairs and a gas barbecue. Look in the pictures and you will see an aerial photo that shows the owners' residence and area and the guest house area. The tower (which is part of the owners' space) divides the two houses.
You are welcome to wander the grounds (except for our residence and courtyard - see the overhead picture in the photos section). In summer months you can use the pool that is shared with us but we rarely use the pool so you will probably be on your own.
Общение с гостями
We will be there to welcome you. We live on the property in the main house and are available for questions at all times. You have the entire guest house to yourselves so you can be sure of quiet and privacy. We do not make noise or have loud music. You will probably see us from time to time. The grounds are very tranquil as you might expect in the countryside.
Другие важные подробности
If you give us 48 hours notice we can prepare a table d'hôte shared meal 30 euros per person including wine. Nadia is an avid cook and can also provide cooking lessons for those that want to add that feature to their trip. Please contact us for details on the cooking lessons. To see some of Nadia's cooking please visit our food blog maisontravers-wordpress-com (replace dashes with dots).
We do not allow smoking or pets inside the house or anywhere on the grounds. This is strictly enforced.
We keep the house very clean and expect guests to treat it with the same care that they would treat their own house. That means leaving the house in the same clean state that you found it.
All kitchen items that are used by guests need to be washed by them, dried and returned to the cupboard or drawer where they belong.
All rubbish should be placed in bags that we provide. You can drop your bags any day at the local drop off point (less than 1km away) or we can take them for you if they are bagged and ready to go when you leave.
