The apartment is fully furnished and perfect for two guests. There's a full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, coffee maker- everything you'd need for meals prep and service. The bath features a heated natural slate floor, tub, shower, etc. Fresh towels, sheets, extra bedding. If you have children, there's even a sleeping loft with room for two. Please inquire about this option. The biking in this area is terrific and there's room for bike storage in our garage. The apartment is in it's own building. Private parking is provided. IMPORTANT!: your GPS can easily take you all over Albemarle County as Dick Woods Road is long and segmented. For easiest access to the property follow Interstate 64 to the Crozet exit. Travel West on RT 250 and turn left on Ortman Road across form the estate named Mirador. Follow Ortman until it Ts with Plank Road. Cross over Plank and take the very first right, Dick Woods Road. Our home is the first drive on the right marked with a sign, Millbank.
We hope you'll find our place a comfortable and charming place to stay. We ask that you respect the property by taking care of the furnishings, letting us know if something gets broken or stops working during your stay, not smoking on the premises, driving carefully in the driveway and honoring the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Our home is across the lawn and we ask that you respect our privacy as well. Dick Woods Road is popular for walking, running, and biking, but the surrounding fields are a working farm with livestock and are off limits.
