Steps away from the park, coffee spots, restaurants, vintage shops, etc, this corner apt offers the perfect locale to get to know the East Village lifestyle! It features original plaster & exposed brick from 1900, but is decked out for modern living.
While the apartment has been freshly painted, has new appliances, high speed wifi, and mod furnishings, it is one of the last remaining units in the building that still maintains its original details from when it was built in 1900. The plaster walls, exposed brick, portions of the layout, and door transoms are from an East Village era gone by, making the space feel even more layered with history. Being a corner unit, the two cozy bedrooms are showered with natural sunlight. Even the bathroom has two large east facing windows, making a morning shower quite an experience (window curtains provided, of course). The eclectic kitchen features a coffee maker, dishwasher, butcher block countertops, and unique tin ceiling. For all the cooks out there, the kitchen cupboards are stocked with cookware and utensils to make your own gourmet meals and dine in. The living space includes a dining nook with an expandable leaf oak table to seat four. The slate gray sofa faces a new flat screen tv against the exposed brick backdrop. Play your favorite music through the Jambox speaker, or enjoy the vibrant spectrum of sounds from the lively streetscape below. Endless entertainment! This space truly facilitates a taste of life in New York's illustrious East Village.
