On the ground floor with easy access to the closed yard with a playground and picnic area. The building is over 150 years old and still has the original woodwork and hardwood floors, but it has been recently renovated and nicely mixes old and new.
I expect my guests to make themselves at home, and to treat it like they hope people would treat their own home. My home is smoke free and there is no smoking in the staircase, but since there are only three steps to the street and yard, smokers are welcome as long as they smoke outside, and remember to clean up after themselves. Windows can be opened as much as you like, but it is important to close them again whenever you leave the apartment.
I am a single mom to a teenage son. I have a graduate degree in English from the University of Copenhagen. I was born in the USA, but moved to Denmark with my Danish mother in 1983. I have lived in this apartment since 1992. I work at a private school outside of Copenhagen in the school's administration and as an English teacher.
