Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes :-). We are 2 blocks from the closest one (Weaver Lake) as the crow flies and about a mile from its beautiful public beach. Many people enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, and skiing in it's waters or just relaxing on it's shores.
Rush Creek Golf Club is only about 1 and 1/2 miles from our home. It is the most complete golf and meeting facility you will find in the Twin Cities. Their 18-hole championship golf course has hosted many national events including 3 LPGA events and most recently. Interested? (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) - Rushcreek Golf Course MN

My name is Kathy and I live in Maple Grove. I am the mother of five and have 15 wonderful grandchildren ranging in age from 1 year to 24 years. I love spending time with them.
I share our five bedroom home with a housemate who has been my best friend for many years. Her name is Linda.
I work part time with the elderly. I also co-direct a conversational English language camp for Chinese students in the summer.
My love of travel has taken me to Japan, China, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Mexico and many warm places in the Caribbean. I had the privilege of visiting Israel in 2013 spring and it was simply wonderful on so many levels.
Future travel? Possibly Australia…Linda and I had a goal to snorkel in the top 5 diving locations in the world. We only have one location left on the list…the Great Barrier Reef.
I love to walk, ride bike, read, study the Bible, and watch movies. I also love to be in, on, or around the water.
I have lived in the Minneapolis area my whole adult life and really love it. It is often called the Mini-Apple. It is rich in cultural opportunities, including the theater. It is also home to the Mall of America where people come from all over the world to shop. It is called the Land of 10,000 Lakes but there are actually many more then 10,000. One of them is just down the street a couple of blocks from our home
It is less then one block to the bus stop that takes you to downtown Minneapolis. Maple Grove has wonderful shopping and restaurants close by. There is also a hospital nearby.
I look forward to meeting new people.
