Our home is situated on a lake in the middle of Chapel Hill. Beautiful architectural details. 5 bedrooms 4.5 baths. A 6th bedroom/bath is available if needed (additional fee). Inquire about options. Private dock with a catamaran, kayaks, and paddle boards. Private park at the end of our street The house can be rented out by room or the whole house.
Great for family reunions, small weddings, rehearsal dinners, graduation, ballgame weekends & girl friend getaways.
No smoking. No pets. Double occupancy only. Life jackets required
(& provided) if taking out kayaks or catamaran (maximum 2 people). Waiver required for water sports.
When the whole house is rented, we have two options for our home. Either the traditional B&B method, in which we would be in the home/office, which is a secured part on the home, (dog on site as well) and be available for traditional B&B accouterments, or we can vacate the main home, have the animals elsewhere as well.
We have one animals, Aspen our Golden Retriever lives in the house. No animals are ever allowed into the bedrooms. We are just being sensitive to pet allergies.

Sherry is from Coastal NC but has lived in Chapel Hill since 1990 and loves it! David is from Connecticut, and came here by way of California. Chapel Hill is a great college town being home to the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Duke University and NC State are just up the road. Having owned Ladies Fitness & Wellness centers for many years and being an entrepreneur, Sherry loves meeting and helping people.
My husband ran a B&B in for a short time 1989 and loves to cook. We both love fitness & golf. We have six children between us, with our youngest just starting college this fall. David was an exchange student in Germany in 1980, and last year we returned the honor by hosting our 7th child from Italy. We had our first granddaughter in 2014. We love hosting events in our beautiful lakeside home. As empty nesters now, we would like to share our home by the lake.
