'Staying here has been the highlight of our trip. Waking up in such a beautiful place each day made everything else in Bellingham seem to glow as well. Debbie and Harvey were extremely gracious hosts and shared with us great places to hike and to eat. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.' B.F., Indianapolis, IN
'Spectacular and serene. Fresh crab, salmon, oysters raspberries, blueberries. All the best of the Northwest. Wonderful visit to the Pond Cottage. Looking forward to returning soon.' CS, Berkeley, CA
"My husband and one-year-old daughter and I stayed at the Pond Cottage for a summer vacation to Bellingham. We were escaping a Midwestern heat wave and arrived just in time for sunny 70 degree days for the duration of our visit. Upon arriving at Debbie and Harvey's property we both said, "We actually get to stay here!?" The property is really that beautiful. As much as there is to do in and around Bellingham and the San Juans there were days when all we wanted to do was go for a run on the InterUrban and hang out with the animals next to the cottage all day, listening to the waterfall in the background. There is just a beautiful, restorative energy emanating from this place, and Debbie and Harvey's kindness made it seem all the more welcoming, The nights were cool and comfortable. The little kitchen was perfect for preparing simple meals, and the induction stove was quick and easy to use. The cottage is nicely decorated with beautiful art, comfortable furnishings, cork flooring and warm carpet. We spent most of our time outside, but were just as comfortable during the times we were indoors. We went running on the InterUrban daily, ran the Chuckanut Foot Race, took a whale watching tour, drove to Deception Pass and took several smaller hikes near the beaches and lakes in Bellingham. The stay at the Pond Cottage will be a highlight of your trip, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, rested, inspired, and energized - truly the goal of any good getaway!" BSF Indiana
"We loved our stay here. Cozy, comfortable, everything we needed for a low key get away. Loved the waterfall and pond view. Comfy bed. Perfect spot for hiking, biking, kayaking. The interurban trail is right out the door, as are hiking trials on Chuckanut mountain. We'll definitely be back for another Bellingham area get away--great fun. When we do we will stay here again for sure." KK, Bainbridge Island, WA
