It's challenging to write about yourself, but here goes.
My name is Jeannette, but many call me Jenny. I live in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. I love to travel and meet new people, but only get to do so occasionally. Thankfully, being an Airbnb host gives me the opportunity to meet new friends at home. My daughter Janae actually manages the Airbnb now. I mostly greet guests and make new friends...the fun stuff.
What is it like to have Janae and me as your hosts? Well, I'm a part-time empty-nester with my youngest in college. This is one of the reasons we decided to be Airbnb hosts. The house is just too big now...and quiet. Janae is great at making sure you feel at home and your stay is memorable. Between the two of us, someone is always available to assist you.
The lower-level apartment is private and ideal for tourists and business travelers to relax in a cozy place that feels like home.
6 things I can't live without...family, friends, pasta, internet, and cell phone
Let's see, what are some of my favorites:
-Favorite travel destination: Jamaica
-Favorite books/authors: no 1 fav, but have read several by John Grisham
-Favorite movies: anything except horror flicks
-Favorite shows: The Blacklist, Amazing Race, Impractical Jokers, Chicago Fire, Breaking Bad...just to name a few
-Favorite music genre: Country, R&B, Pop, Gospel...almost anything as long as the lyrics aren't too derogatory
-Favorite food: Pasta, pasta and more pasta
Can't wait to meet you!
