Our beautiful and spacious home in the town of Downieville combines Gold Rush era charm with utmost comfort. A glorious deck overlooks the North Yuba River. Our home is perfect for families and large groups. Downieville is an idyllic town for mountain biking, shopping, fishing, hiking, tubing and swimming.
Our home is one of the first homes built in Downieville during the Gold Rush. While old, it is warm, comfortable and full of many modern amenities to make your stay pleasurable. It is outfitted to accommodate a crowd in every way. Each room is outfitted with 100% cotton sheets, down comforters and multitudes of pillows . Each room can sleep 2-5 people. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for and serve a large group.

Downieville is a unique and charming town unlike no other. This little town is nested in a valley surrounded by a gorgeous Sierra mountain scape. While there is plenty to do locally, the Sierra Buttes is only 30 minutes up scenic Hwy 49 and is full of splendid lakes, vistas, hikes, camping and picnic sites. This home is a true gem in the center of it all.
