We only stayed here for one night and it was a good, convenient stay. Even though the place is quite a hike from Thera/Fira (a good half hour walk), it has the advantage of having a very nice swimming pool and being halfway between Thera/Fira and the beaches on the east side of Santorini. Bear in mind that the sea that you see on the background in the pictures is not the caldera (west side, known for the beautiful sunset), but the other side, where there are three beaches with black sand (volcanic sand). The advantage of staying here was that we were able to hike up to Thera/Fira one day, and to the beach the other day, without having to rent a car/quad/scooter, but you need to be up for a challenge if you want to do that (especially in the summer, when it gets really hot and there's not much shade around).
The room we stayed in was quite comfortable, in spite of being rather small (especially the bathroom), but it was definitely great to have air conditioning, a mini fridge, a TV and a balcony just to ourselves. The common areas are really nice, and their flexibility about the check-out time was definitely a great help, too — as was the pick-up service from the port, upon our arrival. I'd definitely recommend this place to people looking for comfortable enough yet affordable accommodation in Santorini.
