Beautifully renovated home in the heart of Oakmont, just 1 block away from the best local restaurants, nightlife, the Oakmont Bakery, & just a 5 min drive or short walk to the Oakmont Country Club!
A/C, WIFI, 50" smart TV, & fire pit included
Our home was constructed in the late 1800s and is nestled right in the heart of the famous Oakmont neighborhood; otherwise known as "one square mile of happiness." We hope you will relax in our unique and eclectic home which is filled with family heirlooms, antiques, art work, and thrift store finds! We have taken 3 years to independently (well, with the help of great family & friends) restore this Victorian beauty and have embraced the original architecture, wood working, leaded glass, and fixtures that have withstood the past century. There is plenty of space inside (2,300 sq/ft) to explore, but feel free to enjoy our fenced in back yard, vegetable and herb gardens, and fire pit as well!
You will have access to three out the four floors. Sorry, the upper floor will be off limits and locked. Feel free to use the laundry, kitchen, porches, and fenced in backyard

We encourage you to explore all that Oakmont (and Pittsburgh!) has to offer, however, it would be our pleasure to provide a list of our favorite bars, restaurants, and shops. There will be a reference folder on the dining room table

I've been married to my high school sweet heart and Army veteran husband for 3 years and life is honestly great! We did a crazy house reno by ourselves (with help from friends and family) and have lived to talk about it. HGTV is incredibly misleading when you DIY without a full construction crew + tons of money. I'm very close with my family and have gotten to travel to some beautiful places with them. I'm also a vegetarian, love hot sauce, and drink whiskey so, according to recent trends I will apparently live for a long time. I love art and finding new purposes for old antiques. I'm a huge Walking Dead fan with shot glasses and Christmas ornaments to prove it.
