Cosy, well-appointed and spotless traditional end-terrace Victorian cottage in central Borders town 5 miles from the new Borders railway terminus. Looking over the rooftops of Selkirk to the hills beyond the house offers a quiet haven yet close to amenities.
46 Tower Street is a traditional Victorian end terraced cottage in a row of four cottages. Originally built for mill workers it is typical of many older buildings in having it's own character and unique little features. It is a family home that is used regularly by various members of our family for short breaks. We like it because it is private and secluded, providing a quiet environment yet conveniently only minutes from the town centre.
Guests have access to the entire house and garden. Note that there is no parking directly next to the house.
Общение с гостями
We live 30 minutes drive from the house so can attend to any issues personally fairly quickly if required although given that we are not next door we do require a set time of arrival if we are to meet guests on arrival. However we are also generally available via mobile and email all day to deal with any queries/assistance.
Другие важные подробности
For Guests staying for longer than 7 days we will make arrangements to come in to freshen up the house and to provide fresh linen/towels at agreed intervals but as a rule every 7 days.
The house offers a high degree of privacy given both its end terrace and elevated position. Obviously courtesy should be shown to the immediate neighbours.
