Welcome to our 1930s Duplex apartment, with views of the Quayside. 12 minutes walk from the train station. Decorated with lots of antiques and artworks. One of the bedrooms has a balcony. There is fresh ground coffee and tea if you fancy a cuppa :-)
A very well built 1930s top floor, two floored apartment with real wooden floors throughout. South facing with lots of nice light and a sunset if you are lucky. All the furnishing are 20th century antiques. It has lots of art dotted around. There is a TV in one of the bedrooms but it is not hooked up to a TV aerial.
The apartment has two double bedrooms one with a balcony attached to it, which you have full access too. The sitting room doubles up as another bedroom when needed. I have been told the sofa bed is not the most comfy sleeps.
Fudge (the little dog) won't be home during your stay.
In the past we have had problems with the drainage in the bathroom because of guests flushing wet wipes and sanitary towels down the toilet. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet (use the bin provided). Please let me know if there is anything we can ever improve on. All feedback is welcome.
The flat is located up some stairs and there is no lift access. The entrance is located at the back of the building, next to an Indian restaurant on Howard Street.
The only rooms that will be locked/out of bounds is my office and my son's bedroom. You wont been missing much, just lots of paperwork and children's toys.
Общение с гостями
I have lived in the North East all my life. If you have any questions before, during or after your stay, I'm more than happy to help. I know all the good and bad places to drink, eat, shop and so on...
I will usually be staying across the road when you're here, so I will be on call if you need me for anything.
Другие важные подробности
The flat is located in a permit parking area. Please remember to ask me about the free parking. Our secret spot is only two streets away. Without one it it costs £1 per hour to park, 8am-6.30pm.
I also have a dog (she will not be there when you stay) but I feel it is best to note this in case of a severe allergy.
Please treat our home and our belongings with respect.
Only smoke outside on the upstairs balcony or outside of the building. my child is asthmatic, so this is really important.
Please tidy up after yourself.
Be nice to our neighbours and keep outside noise to a minimum, especially if you are coming in late or smoking on the balcony.
If you would like to bring a pet please ask before hand.
Mostly, please enjoy the space and our area :-D
