It boasts over 2600 square feet of interior living space as well as a large screened-in back porch that is perfect for entertaining or for relaxing after a long day. Martha’s place is beautifully appointed and in a great location. The folks we met in the neighborhood were very friendly. We will be back, and we will stay here again!!

Amazing property, better than the photos. Good places to eat across the street. Martha was a great host with easy communication. The bar downstairs has loud music on Friday/Saturday nights and that's the only thing that might impact someone's stay. Don't hesitate to book!

You will LOVE staying here!!! My family and I were touring the Bourbon Trail last week and stayed at this incredible home as a home base during the 2nd part of our trip. We absolutely loved the space (great screened in porch for fun game nights!) and how easy it was to walk to anything we needed when not out on the trail!

Fabulous accommodations in the heart of Frankfort. Parking plus! Ease to walk to restaurants, coffee, bar and shopping. Location was key in our brief 2 full days on the Bourbon Trail, we just made it to the last Four at Buffalo Trace, second day was a toss up and we chose Bardstown (Louisville next time) and an evening at Makers Mark opening of the Chihuly exhibit, Sunday made time for Four Roses, Wild Turkey and Woodford. The drives in the area are so beautiful, green rolling hills, horses galloping and amazing ranches line the countryside. The locals in Frankfort are quick to know you are not from around there, but offer true Southern Hospitality and take you in as their own, never a dull moment in Frankfort! The house has everything you want, breathtaking, and gives you those warm fuzzies of vacation.... you won't watch tv, you may read a book, you certainly will feel relaxed. The bar downstairs and next door may be too loud for light sleepers (3 out of 4 slept like babies with no ear plugs) if you are a sensitive sleeper I would suggest you bring earplugs or miss out on this gem! Drink enough bourbon and you'll be fine. Thanks Martha, we loved every minute of our holiday, you made it perfect... so helpful in everyway!

We stayed at Martha's place over Father's Day weekend, and visited the Bourbon Trail during our time in Kentucky. The home is wonderfully located, central to many of the stops on the Trail, most notably Buffalo Trace (5 min drive), with Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey and 4 Roses all being within 30 minutes. Easily accessible to the other distilleries in Louisville and Lexington as well. The property is beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. Plenty of space for our group  of six to sleep, in 3 very soft, comfy queen beds. The linens are excellent quality, and plenty of towels were provided. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious, and have excellent closet space. The downstairs master has an ensuite bathroom that is spacious, and all the bathrooms are well-equipped with new, pristine fixtures and modern updates. The living room and kitchen are open concept and a great size, with lovely high ceilings. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, and a coffeemaker. Had the weather been cooler, there is a lovely screened in back porch we would have loved to use. There are quite a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. We tried Bourbon on Main for our dinner the first night. The food was delicious, with a great selection of southern style favorites and an inventive specials menu. Many craft beers on tap, and of course a great bourbon and cocktail list. The service was friendly, if a little slow. The downstairs is quite small, but upstairs is open and spacious. Around the corner from the townhouse is a lovely coffee shop and breakfast/lunch spot called Kentucky Coffee Tree Cafe. The menu offers coffees, reasonably priced sandwiches, a few soups, and salads. They also serve a pretty good selection of beer and cocktails as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Frankfort, and would definitely stay at Martha's property again. She is an excellent host, stopping by the evening of our arrival to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed, although everything our group could want was already provided by this thoughtful host. If you're looking to stay in the area, check out her place! You will enjoy one of the best properties I've ever had the pleasure of staying in.

This may be one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed in while traveling. Taller ceilings than in a castle. Great location and value.
