Thank you for renting my warehouse vacation rental which is located at 838 Camp Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Check in is at 3pm and checkout is a noon. On occasion the property may not be available precisely at 3pm in the event the unit requires extensive cleaning. We may secure your bags and ask for additional time to clean the unit but we do everything in our power to avoid this situation and will make you aware of this procedure in advance. You are also responsible for any damage to the unit in excess of reasonable wear and tear.

My assistant Kevin (EMAIL HIDDEN) will check you in. His phone number is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Entry to the units and common doors is controlled by digital locks, which have code pads for access. Please e-mail Kevin, a few days before your arrival, your expected ETA along with your preference for a 4 digit code to the digital locks for your use during your stay. The only exception is the back gate and the key to this gate will be in your unit, in the event Kevin is unable to check you in personally. The off-street parking is in one of two reserved spots (marked as reserved) immediately outside the iron gate that is at the rear of the property. Your rental includes use of one off-street parking spot, but you must hang the parking tag, which will be in your unit along with the key to the back gate, from your rear view mirror at all times while you are parked or your car can be immobilized by the company that manages the lot. And you must leave the parking tag back in the unit at check out, or your deposit will not be refunded until we receive the parking tag back.

If you have any additional questions feel free to contact Kevin or me if you are unable to reach him. The property you are staying in has a rich history and is very special to me. The property is also surrounded by great restaurants and cultural attractions. We welcome the opportunity to provide advice and recommendation about restaurants and activities in the vicinity of the property. I truly hope you enjoy your time at my property and in New Orleans.

My husband and I stayed at Damon’s place for a week while in New Orleans for our anniversary. We loved, loved, loved the place! The apartment is beautiful and stylish. We spent three days at the World War II museum, so the location was perfect. It’s about a half mile walk to the business district, and 3/4 mike to the French Quarter, so it’s very walkable. We also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony at night. The only drawback would be noise if there is someone staying upstairs, but you would have that anywhere you stay. Next time we visit New Orleans, we will plan the trip around the availability of this apartment. I honestly wouuldn’t want to stay anywhere else! Nadia

such a great place to stay! Damon was so accommodating and helped me with every step! He went over and beyond being a great host. the place was clean and so cute!! perfect size! so close to everything, we were able to walk to the french quarter and the garden district!

Loved this place! High ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick. Relaxing porch overlooking rear courtyard. Quiet neighborhood. We came for a conference and easily walked to the convention center each day, past restaurants and art galleries. Several museums within a couple blocks. Walk to vegan friendly restaurants, one less than a block away. Definitely would stay here again. May even plan a trip to NOLA, knowing this is a great place to stay!

A true New Orleans pied-a-terre...we thoroughly enjoyed this spacious and bright one bedroom apartment. Location is central as can be as it is in the heart of NOLA's increasingly fashionable Warehouse District which is filled with restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. Because the location is certainly more urban than residential I only recommend that light sleepers would benefit from bringing along ear plugs but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully recommend Damon's place if you are looking to fully enjoy the lively heart of this always fascinating city.

Great location, within walking distance of the French Quarter and trolley. Clean place with a great porch and patio. Only down side is that there is another unit above so you can hear every footstep and noise the neighbors make.

Great location, close to the French Quarter and the business district. Very charming older building, with high ceilings and lots of character. The bed is a king size and was very comfortable. Only weak point is the possible noise from tenants upstairs.
