A 3 bedroom, 1 bath home with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, lots of windows and a beautiful view of the Temecula valley. The ranch is home to several retired thoroughbred race horses and other race horses that are being "laid up" until they can return to racing. There is a patio with a barbecue and seating for a leisurely dinner or glass of wine.
This is a secluded private home at the top of a hill behind gates. There are caretakers living on the property who can help with whatever a guest needs. It is a great area to hike in and simply enjoy the quiet.
The entire home is available to our guests. There are horses to see on the way into the property and in the barn area.

Другие важные подробности
There is no air conditioning in the house but there are ceiling fans and as the house sits at 3300 ft. elevation, we usually get a cool breeze in the evenings.
Please don't smoke in the house but feel free to use anything that is in the house. The fireplace is not gas lighted but there are fire starters (pine cones dipped in wax) to aid in starting a fire. There is plenty of fire wood. We are on our own well but water in California is precious. Please use it sparingly. The horses are not available for riding but they do enjoy carrots. We also love dogs but please don't let them wander in with the horses. Usually they don't mind dogs but it can be risky.
I have been an antiques dealer in Southern California for almost 20 years. But when a friend gave me a 2 year old racehorse that had been injured at Del Mar, I fell in love with thoroughbreds. One led to another and I decided to buy a farm in Kentucky for my broodmares and their progeny. That was 7 years ago and now babies born on my farm are running and I am still mesmerized by the breed. By listing my farm on Airbnb I want to share the the utter joy I feel when I am at my farm, with anyone who loves country and horses as much as I do.
