I'm occasionally about to help. I'm happy to stock things in the house if you are coming from overseas and need some supplies in when you arrive. I always leave tea, coffee, milk and basics. The house has bed linen, towels, full kitchen supplies, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dish washer. Everything you need for a lovely quiet break. The bathrooms have full toiletries ,soap/ shampoo/ toilet paper/ towels/ so you don't need to bring those and I leave books, some CDs, games and lots of travel and tourism information.

The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and a large fridge. I leave coffee, tea, milk, sugar for arrivals. The central heating is oil and there is an open fire in the living room for winter. I leave oil supplies in the tank and some fire materials for your first open fire but you may need to buy logs or smokeless coal. I leave bathroom materials towel toilet paper shampoo conditioner soap etc. At the end of a visit do help me by stripping your beds and leaving used towels and bed linen by the washing machine. Please do clean out the fire and wrap fire coals (when cold!) in newspapers and place in black waste bin. Remember there is no wifi or internet in this house. Please follow the general rules for green and black bins - green waste bin is for paper and recycle products but NOT bottles - black bins is general waste not fit for recycling. Please note its a very quiet residential and family area so not for parties or big gatherings. It is an ideal quiet holiday home with access to beaches. Please respect the neighbours.
I would really appreciate if people leave things as they find them and treat my house with respect and love. No smoking allowed. No pets. The check out time is 12 noon unless otherwise mutually agreed at the time of booking. If you have a specific requirement just ask when booking and I will try and help. If you need a very late check in i.e. past 10pm please flag when booking. Please strip beds and leave used linen/ towels in utility room by washing machine and please empty bins - particularly bathroom bins - when leaving. Please let me know of breakages and accidents at end of visit. Please separate waste into green and black bins and no bottles in refuse bins - just leave them out and I will recycle. Thank you for staying and hope you enjoy your stay.

Hi I like great coffee, at least one a day, clean empty beaches to walk and light, bright colours. I make documentaries and love sharing stories. I like to travel alone and discover things. Movies? It has to be Vertigo. Books? Dubliners, naturally. I've lived in Paris for a memorable year and Boston for another. Life motto? Everything passes; everything is in the process of becoming a memory.
