Inspired by the Robert Frost poem, we offer Mending Wall as an interesting house to relax in. The space has lots of unique features that will make you feel creative and stimulated; featured is a wall of books, media and games, too.
Mending Wall began its life as two small post & beam barns that were put together to make one large space. In the 1960's it became the art studio of Jules Olitsky who used the space to fabricate large-scale metal sculptures and work on large canvas pieces. It morphed in the 70's into first a handcrafts work space/retail space and then into a 3 bedroom house. Presently it is an awesome combination of coziness, light, line and spaciousness with a great place to cook and entertain family & friends or enjoy a candle-lit dinner for two!
Mending Wall is a self-contained separate unit. Keys are in the ornamental bowl on the desk in the dining room.
Общение с гостями
Guests come and go freely. We try to let folks be and leave encounters up to serendipity.
We like the space to be your 'home-away-from-home' and have it set up so that you enter an apartment fully occupied. This includes random groceries (help yourselves to anything that suits you) and just give us a call while you're here if you need something you can't find-if we have it, it's yours! We like quiet after 10 pm. No illegal drugs. No cigarette smoking indoors. Guests are responsible for any damage to premises. Thank you for choosing Mending Wall.
