The Granary is close to Hawkshead, Ambleside, Coniston, spectacular scenery & walks, Beatrix Potter's house and The Drunken Duck!
You’ll love The Granary because of it's access to fantastic areas within the National Park, and warm and cosy to come back to in any weather! Extensively outfitted kitchen to cook up a storm also!
Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (small dogs).
The Granary used to be a milking parlour with a grain store above, attached to a barn and behind Waterson Ground farmhouse. The buildings are built of traditional Lakeland slate and are more than a hundred years old but were sympathetically converted in 2006.
The Granary is "upside down", with the kitchen and living room upstairs and bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs has solid oak floors and slate countertops to the very well equipped kitchen.
Wi-fi is included. Very well equipped kitchen, high chair, travel cot and stair gate for those with babies
