I. Guests’ Responsibilities & Studio Rules

The guest is responsible for the correct and decent behaviour of his/her party.

The guest is responsible for maintaining the studio in good condition.

The guest is expected to maintain the general cleanliness of the studio and take good care of all the furniture and appliances.

Furniture should be kept in place and not be moved. Furniture, furnishings, appliances, etc. should not be removed from property for any reason. If any property is damaged or lost, this should be reported as soon as it is known to the owner or his agent so that appropriate action can be taken to repair taken to repair or replace property.

Any complaints about the property upon arrival must be made by telephone, email, or in person to the owner or his agent within 24 hours of arrival so that the owner or agent can take appropriate steps to correct any problems.

Any problems that occur during the rental period should be reported immediately to the owner or his agent so appropriate action may be taken as they arise.

In the event of any dispute the French laws will have jurisdiction.

O espaço do pascal fica bem próximo aos acessos de metro, supermercado, arco do triunfo, trocadero e da torre. O apartamento é pequeno, mas acomoda bem um casal com 1 criança pequena. Pontos a melhorar/avaliar: são 3 lances de escadas para chegar ao apartamento, as toalhas de banho são antigas, melhor levar as próprias.

As a principle, I am never quarrelling publicly with guests. Besides, the case is under review by Airbnb so I though necessary to wait. But the reality is there is clearly a problem with the renter not respectingher obligations. That said, as I am directly subject to Mrs Van der Merwe's questioning and low rating, I believe necessary to clarify the situation and restore the trust that all previous hosts have put in us. As a general rule - When a guest cancels a confirmed booking or stay extension, a cancellation policy applies with financial consequences, as for hotels or travel tickets - More specifically it applies if the notice of leave/ cancellation does not respect the pre-defined conditions to terminate a stay - as accepted by the guest - at booking - The effect of the cancellation is a modification of the original rate to compensate the host for the loss incurred when the guest is not respecting his/ her obligations Mrs Van der Merwe specific case - She has demanded on several occasions to extend the stay of her daughter, which was gladly accepted - This means that several demands were refused or canceled to keep the plac for her, because guests renting have always priority over external demands - Mrs Van der Merwe has confirmed the extension of her daughter's stay through the Airbnb system and later canceled it. At the same time, she does not want to endorse the responsibility of her act, meaning she does not accept that the cancellation policy applies for her while it would be for everybody else. Pascal est très sympathique et très disponible. Studio propre, design et fonctionnel dans l'un des meilleurs quartiers de Paris. Excellent séjour en somme!

The studio apartment was exactly a indicated and it was fantastic! The place was immaculate and stylish. Pascal is a warm and thoughtful host who made the entire process easy. He is 'on call' 24/7 which I discovered when I mistakenly pocket-called him by accident! He was most cordial. The studio is very convenient for shopping, brasseries, grocery store, pharmacy, and metro. Arc de Triomphe is a stones throw away. Convenient layout of the space with plenty of storage. Three story walk up.

Pascal waited for us at the apartment on Christmas Eve, explained everything we needed to know. Excellent communication pre arrival and throughout the stay despite it being a holiday period. Studio apartment as described, everything in working order.
