A cosy double room in a quiet two-bedroomed attic flat smack bang in the middle of West Didsbury. Just a short hop into the centre of Manchester and minutes away from a string of Manchester's finest independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Private room with comfy double bed, built in wardrobe/cupboard, bedside table, chair, lamp and skylight. Duvet & pillows, sheets and towels are provided.
Shared bathroom with bath, toilet & electric shower.
Shared open plan living room/kitchen with fully equipped kitchen (electric hob and oven, toaster), washing machine, heated drying rack, iron and ironing board, record player, radio and an awesome 1960’s yellow sofa.
Wifi and landline are available but please note there is no television.
The flat is on the second floor, unfortunately there's no lift but I can help with any heavy bags!
There is a communal back garden for all of that Manchester sunshine, plus unallocated off-road parking at the front of the property.
I work in a theatre in the centre of town so happy to help with any recommendations of what to see/do during your stay in Manchester. Please treat the communal areas as your own.
West Didsbury is an awesome neighbourhood! Both Didsbury village and Burton Road are a few minutes walk away and are jam packed with independent shops, cafes and bars. Home to media, music and arts-types, young professionals and young families, it’s a really nice neighbourhood to live in. If you want any ideas for shops/bars to visit, just ask.
The river, water park and Fletcher Moss botanical gardens are close by and perfect for a walk, run or cycle. There’s also a large cinema a few minutes away on the tram and a couple of gyms within walking distance.
By car it takes 15 minutes to drive to the city centre and university. There is unallocated off street parking outside of the building.
By tram it takes about 35 minutes door to door. West Didsbury and Burton Road tram stops are both a 5-10 minute walk from the flat.
By bus it takes about 45 minutes to get into town. Buses can cost as little as £7.50 for a weekly pass.
By taxi from the centre of town to the flat can cost between £10 (uber) and £16 (black cab).

The room accommodates one person.
It’s a small flat and sound travels, so please keep noise to a minimum between midnight and 7am.
No smoking inside the flat and no pets I’m afraid.
Trying to see the world (and eat all of the food) whenever I have a few pennies and a couple of days off work. Love exploring cities, running by the beach, reading in cafes, hiking up hills and wandering around castles.
