Hello! apparently I have the opportunity to let myself known to you in this space, so here we go!
I'm Argentinian , I did my share of adventures living in England and the Nederland's, but the biggest adventure was to marry Lourenço, ( not a dull moment after that!!) which is Portuguese, and in case you speak French or Swahili you probably get a message from him, not me!
When I arrived in Portugal 20 years ago I not only fell in love with my husband but with Portugal's climate, hospitality and his life project,to rebuild and old family house ( full of history of Phoenicians, Arabs and Romans, that was fascinating to me, coming from the new world, where 100 years old building is a tremendously old building) and farm.
We worked hard and with pride to make our dream house.
After some years our live and joy appeared, to change our lives and our existence, and after some years, better schools where in order, that's why we moved cities, and explains now why we are renting our house.
What we wish for you when you rent our house is that you love it as we do.
There is plenty of activities to do in the house, a huuuge trampoline, ping pong, badminton, croquet, french balls, speedy ball, a tree house, a swimming pool, a billiard, a piano and wi-fi!
You also have our dear Sofia, that will help you cleaning around and making your beds, so you can relax!!!
Around the area you have an amazing beach ( comporta ) not spoilt thanks god because strict laws of protection, pristine waters, horse riding in the beach, two golf courses, one next to the beach and the other one with cork trees and olive trees.
Pretty villages, some very old, inside fortresses, some that are still known for the Portuguese carpets, you actually see them working, paleolithics caves, bird watching, etc, etc.
Our area is called the Alentejo, which is known for its delicious food and polite people.
Well, looking forward to meeting you in case you decide to pay us a visit!
