We stayed at Mirko's place for a week, and really enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is located in Dobrota, which is a beautiful 20 minute seaside walk from the old town of Kotor. The apartment is quiet as it is located away from the main street, and the balcony/patio is absolutely lovely. The place was spotless, the kitchen had all the basics for cooking, and the host was always available as he and his family reside in the downstairs apartment. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as an Aroma supermarket for groceries, with a busy bakery/fastfood place we visited many times during the week, which is located right in front of Aroma. There is a washing machine on the property, and while the cleaning fee maybe a bit high, we did enjoy getting fresh towels everyday during our stay, as well as access to more soap, kitchen towels, etc. Since Dobrota is a bit away from the busy Kotor, it was nice to lay out on the concrete pier located just steps from the apartment, and the family even went swimming a couple of times. There are plenty of sights to visit in old town, and there is a fresh fruit/vegetable market every day right passed the old town entrance. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and we would gladly recommend Mirko's place to anyone looking for a pleasant and quiet stay in Kotor.
