From the apartment, you'll have easy access to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci airport. The studio is also just a short walk from Tuscolana train station, where you can catch a train to the airport every 10 minutes. The train ticket to the airport costs approximately €8 (per person.)
The apartment is just 5-10 minutes on foot from "Furio Camillo" subway station on "Line A", giving you access to Rome's historic center in just a few minutes.
The same subway station will also take you to Tiburtina and Termini train stations in just a few minutes.
If you prefer to travel above ground to discover ancient monuments and small streets of the beautiful city of Rome, you can take the No. 85 bus from the bus stop on Via Tuscolana (just a few steps from the apartment).
Just a short walk from the studio, you'll find Via Appia, one of the best shopping streets in Rome, and the new Happio shopping center which is just a 15-minute walk away.
Walking along Via Appia will take you to Piazza San Giovanni. From there, continue along Via Merulana and turn left onto Via Labicana, and you'll soon find yourself in front of the Colosseum.
If you need to buy anything to eat or drink for lunch or dinner, there is a Conad supermarket at 146, Via Nocera Umbra, or a 24-hour Todis at 199/A, Via Tuscolana. Both offer quality products and great prices and the staff are friendly, helpful and polite.
You'll find free on-street parking on Via Assisi and in the surrounding streets, where you can park in the spaces with white lines. There is no paid parking in the surrounding area.
