You will enjoy a simple, but comfortable setting in a quiet neighborhood, minutes away from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Pinecrest Recreation Area, Jamestown and Columbia State Parks. We are 1.5 hours from Yosemite National Park's north entrance (known as Big Oak Flat) and 2-2.5 hours from Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows. There are numerous attractions and year-round events that take place in close proximity. Come stay and play a while!
Your private room and bath (including shower) has its own private entrance, a total of about 400 sqft. The kitchenette (it is not a full kitchen) consists of a small refrigerator/ freezer, a microwave, small convection oven, and an electric kettle. The room includes a dinning/ sitting area, and a queen size bed. All dishes, towels, shampoo/ conditioner and soap, as well as bedding are included. A simple breakfast of coffee and/ or tea (+cream & sugar) along with fruit, yogurt, oatmeal or cereal will be provided. Free WIFI is also available. Games, cards, and books are offered in the room as well.
Our guest amenities have their own separate entrance, downstairs from where we live. We do not have access to your room from upstairs. Guests will be able to come and go freely and will be provided access to their quarters by a personal door code that accesses a key. Therefore you lock the door and feel secure leaving your belongings behind while you're out exploring and visiting the sites.
You will also have your own private parking spot, off the street, where you can feel safe leaving your car for the night.

Другие важные подробности
This is a kid friendly, home environment. Not only do we have children, but there are many children in our neighborhood. It is not uncommon to see the neighborhood kids and their pets playing outside in the yard, street or out and about in the neighborhood. We ask that you please drive slowly and cautiously when coming and going.
Knowing that often when traveling, you may be traveling light. We are happy to provide you with day packs, coolers, additional towels or beach-mats and chairs, maps and guidebooks of the local area for you to make the most out of your adventures.
In your room you will also find a informational guest book that highlights various local attractions such as National, State and County Parks, trails, maps, recommended places to eat as well as local lore.
Most importantly, we want you to relax and enjoy your stay. If there is anything we can do to enhance your stay, please do not hesitate to ask. Just as anywhere, we ask that guests be respectful of our home and we too will respect you and hope to meet your desires and expectations.
We do ask that guests please do not wash any dishes in the bathroom sink. If necessary, there is a wash basin in the garage adjacent to the guest room for such. We have a "very" sensitive septic system and the bathroom sink is connected to a pump, shared by the toilet. Any foreign material washed down the drain or toilet can clog and ruin the pump. Plenty of clean dishes will be provided. Dirty dirty dishes can be placed outside your room and we will be happy to remove those and replenish anything necessary.
We also ask that noise be kept to a minimum between the hours of 9:30pm and 6:00am. We too will respect that and your needs for rest and quiet-time.
We do not have any tolerance for smokers, sorry. Therefore there is absolutely no smoking on the premise.
I'd like to think of myself as a go-getter. I love to travel, back-pack and anything out-of-doors. And when not outdoors, I love to chef-out in the kitchen. Although my passions for traveling and backpacking have been put on hold for a few years due to having young kiddos, we do spend a lot of time day-hiking and traveling locally.
Our family is incredibly social and loves to meet new people, share perspectives and swap tales of travels and adventures. We welcome the opportunity to expand our network of connections and look forward to the connections we can foster through Airbnb. Therefore, we look forward to meeting you!
