Gracious 1927 historic home, on a generous lot with gardens. An urban farmhouse - with room to host boisterous dinners, gather with friends, or relax after a day in the city. Walkscore of 80, half a block from extensive parks, on the bicycle trail! Lots more photos available, as we've made some big improvements this year. We now have three queen beds.
This home was formerly executive housing for Gai's Bakery. There are gorgeous historic details, including built-in cabinetry, coved ceilings, original arts and crafts fireplace, and formal entry overlooking rose garden and the street below - which makes a great place to drink morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun sets.
There are 2,000 SF of living space, and a 6,000 SF lot. The floors are brand new refinished, and more furniture is on the way, so there may be some updates from the photos.
We're high up on the hill, so the house gets amazing light at all times of the day.
You'll have access to all of the main house: three bedrooms, an office, meditation room, living room, formal dining room, kitchen and two baths, as well as the outdoor gardens and stoop overlooking the cycling trail and the street (a room in itself!)

My husband and I are local, and I was born and raised in Seattle - we love it here and will be more than happy to help you discover the city and make it feel like home.
We love to run, cycle, swim, sail, windsurf and anything else involving the water. Also love to cook and entertain- so you will find the home fully stocked with everything you could possibly need.
I have been an AirBnB host for years - originally in Manhattan, and have used AirBnB as a guest in London, Hawaii, Bonaire and Portugal - all have provided access to spectacular places I never could have found otherwise. It started out as an experiment, and we found that we love the process as both guest and hosts - whether you want a quiet retreat or a kitchen-table chat about the neighborhood, city, and your own adventures.
