Harrison House is a renovated, historic home full of new appointments. You'll be staying in one of the oldest homes on the eastside of Savannah!
Originally built for Mr. William T. Harrison in 1875, our home was lovingly restored by George, an award-winning historic preservationist.
Harrison House has 4 bedrooms (one is a small, converted trunk room) all with high-end, quality mattresses. No inconvenience of a pull-out sofa, cot or air mattress like many other listings that claim to accommodate up to 7. The home has a fully equipped kitchen. Also a full-size washer/dryer is conveniently located upstairs on the same floor with the bedrooms.

Welcome to Harrison House! It is our pleasure to have you stay at our home.

Check in is at 4 pm. You will be provided a code for the lock box on the front door for entry. Additional keys are available on the mantel. Please keep your lock box code handy for replacing the key in the box at check out.
Check out is at 11 am. Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle. Remove trash and recyclables to lane. Remember to leave all additional keys on the mantel. Please check that all doors are secure. After locking back door, re-lock front door with your lock code.
Minimum Age Limit for Renters: 25
No Smoking of any kind is permitted inside the home. Guests may smoke outside and on porches. Please dispose of cigarette butts in trash.
Pets are not allowed.
Guests must not exceed the listed occupancy of 7. People other than those in the Guest Party set forth may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
Limit of liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you. You agree to indemnify the owners against any claims resulting from your occupancy of the property. The unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Noise: Please be mindful of the City of Savannah Noise Ordinance. As you are staying in a residential area, we would like to remind you to observe neighborhood quiet times between the hours of 9 pm –8 am. Violations of these rules may lead to fines or eviction without refund. Please remember that sound carries very well throughout Savannah, most especially in courtyards, porches, patios, and verandas.
Cancellation & Storm Policy: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or a "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:
Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Guests shall keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Guest shall only use appliances for their intended uses.
Plumbing: The property is on a public sewer system. Guests will be responsible for plumbing repairs associated with improper flushed materials (including feminine products). DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
Parking: We do not have metered parking on our street. Generally speaking, where meters are present the city does not check meters after 5 pm on weekdays and on weekends you do not have to pay the meter.
Our block of Duffy has the following restrictions on parking due to street sweeper:
Do not park on the North side of Duffy Street on Friday nights after 10:30 pm and avoid the South side of Duffy Street on Saturday nights after 10:30 pm
Trash: Household trash (green cart) and recycling (black/yellow cart) must be placed in the collection carts located in the lane directly behind the garage. Back gate key is on hook at back door.
Guests agree to abide by all laws and will not conduct any illegal activity on premises. Any illegal activity will lead to eviction with no refund.
Fireplaces are non-operational and have been sealed top to bottom. Do not use candles or fire of any sort on property.
While “to-go" cups are legal in parts of the city, public intoxication is unlawful.
Laundry and towels must not be hung to dry on any exterior portion of the property, including, porch
rails, fences, gates, or banisters.
Helpful Hints for your Stay in Savannah:
•9-1-1 is the phone number for emergency services in the city.
•Obey all pedestrian signals and signage.
•Bicycles are a great mode of transportation in Savannah; however, bicycles are prohibited in squares, parks, and sidewalks throughout Savannah.
•48-hour parking passes are available for $12 from Savannah's Parking Services Office at 100 East Bryan Street, the Savannah Visitor's Center at 301 MLK Blvd, or by cal(phone number hidden). The pass provides parking at any meter, with a time limit of one hour or more. It also includes complimentary parking at any of the City owned Parking Garages.
