One year and counting! It's been an adventure meeting people from all around the globe. A big hug and obrigado for everyone that passed through. Thank you for the suggestions, thank you for the experiences. I couldn't do this without all the wonderfull guests :)!
The flat runs on an easy going and relaxed moto.
Language barrier has been an issue in the past, but I still strive to accept everyone I can as long as we can minimally communicate.
Being a local I know everything about this city. I don't work for any hostel or hotel so I am unbiased. You tell me where you want to go, or what you want to see and I'll point you in the right direction.
At this point I have done my fair share of showing around whenever guests are looking for the Porto experience.
If you're worried about getting around in Porto because the public transports confuse you - don't be. I'll explain you everything about how our ticket system works, from buses to subways and even trains.
I've made an information sheet with everything guests need in case I'm not home when they arrive.
My phone number, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), viber etc are available to you so any problem you have you can contact me.
I speak English, Spanish and I know French and Italian enough to understand it a little bit, just not speak back.
Другие важные подробности
My cat, Lee, has almost become a mascot around here. I've rescued him from the shelter over a year ago and he's become better than me at greeting guests.
I'm only renting the room to 1 or 2 people because of the bed, however the couch can fit 1-2 more people so if you message me with any special request I'll open the calendar to more people if necessary.
I'm not aiming to do this as formal as possible, so even when it comes to prices, days of stay or amount of people coming all these things can be discussed first.
If you are a student looking for accommodation for the upcoming semesters in Porto, doing an internship, working, or anything else, I have adjusted the monthly prices with a discount just for you. If you would like to know the standard monthly price, send me a message. If you have anything else you would like to discuss further, just contact me directly.
The calendar, information, and prices are updated on a monthly/bi-monthly basis so everything is fair, up to date and according to guests' standards and expectations.
Use the house as you see fit, as long as you respect the space and don't take anything without my permission.
Make your own schedules - come and go out of the house whenever you want.
You'll have a keychain with all the keys necessary for your stay (including a bedroom key for extra privacy) that you must leave inside the house before you leave. If you lose them you must pay 30€ (they're very expensive non-duplicable keys!)
Smoking only allowed on the balcony or outside of the window.

I've had my fair share of travelling, including couchsurfing so I see myself more as the person who stays than the person who rents. I'm a pretty simple, easy to get along with guy. I'm renting the extra bedroom to try and help out with some extra expenses as well as to keep funding my travel money. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated.
I don't expect everyone to be sociable, as I myself understand that when travelling you're mostly out of the house than in. I'm an easy-going person, and I try to do things the easy, simple and uncomplicated way. I am however willing to help you with anything you need to better your stay in my humble place if you wish to pass by for a while :)
