It was a nice stay with plenty of space for all of us (we were 4 people). We had a really warm welcome with free home made Vishnovka. The flat had every facility one might need, even a washing machine, iron and etc. I only wish the view from the terrace was not obstructed by vines (although they are nice as well, but I would have preferred the view to the sea)
Toni was nice; he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us directions into town. The apartment was clean and comfortable and was a short cab ride away from the old town. The stairs were a hike but as a young couple we didn't mind. Only negative point was confusion about the check out time. He told us that check out was at 10am the night before we left, however, the morning of he knocked on the door at 9:15 telling us that he had another group checking in in 10 minutes, causing us to have to pack and leave in a serious rush.
The apartment is very homey and Toni's family, which lives in the apartment above this was very helpful. I never met Toni himself, but his wife was able to let us into the apartment. We arrived much earlier than expected, but she let us in early, showed us the apartment, and gave us advice on how to bus around town. The apartment itself is on the hill above the Dubrovnik port and main bus station. It's about a 45 minute walk from old town - which isn't bad late at night but was a bit rough as we walked over in the heat of mid-day with packs. If you're planning on seeing things in this area of Dubrovnik, it's a nice apartment, but I'd recommend something a bit more central if you're mainly interested in old town.
