We live on site, so we will meet you on arrival. We can be as discreet or as available as you wish. We have lived here for over 14 years, so know the area extremely well. We're happy to provide information about local markets, attractions and restaurants etc - where to go and probably more importantly where to avoid. We're also happy to help with booking etc, should you need help with the language.
Общение с гостями
We live discreetly on site. Here if you need guidance about the area - restaurants, attractions, making bookings or we'll leave you to your own devices. You decide.
Другие важные подробности
Ideal for 4 people or for a larger group as it's possible to rent the adjacent gite which sleeps 6.
Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following charges will be payable. The charges are based on the cost of the basic holiday (not including any additional services).
More than 42 days – 20%
42 days or less – 50%, unless we can rebook the property, when we will refund any payment to the level of the subsequent booking
1 month or less – 100%, unless we can rebook the property, when we will refund any payment to the level of the subsequent booking
Refundable Security deposit
A refundable security deposit of £300/ €300 per gite (£600 if both gites are booked) is payable with full payment, the week before arrival.
We reserve the right to charge you for any costs relating to the gite being left excessively dirty, any breakages or damage to the material structure of the property (gite and pool).
The deposit will be refunded shortly after departure (normally Sunday evening) less any deductions for the item listed above.
This is not intended to be a sneaky means of increasing the cost of your holiday, and it is hoped that we will never have to levy any such charge except in exceptional circumstances.
Arrival & Departure
Arrivals from 4pm onwards.
Departures by 10am.
Before your arrival date, we ask that you let us know your estimated arrival time. On the day please call or text us when you are 30 minutes away from the gite. Please let us know if your arrival time will be significantly different to originally anticipated – e.g. traffic, flight delays etc.
We cannot be held responsible for the personal safety and security of guests (or their belongings) whilst on our premises / using items supplied by ourselves. You remain responsible for your own personal safety at all times. Children should be supervised by an adult at all time, particularly in and around the pool area.
French insurance works differently to the UK. You are responsible for any damage to the property. It is therefore essential that you take out personal insurance that covers you for accidental damage and personal accident and personal liability. We reserve that right to request a copy of your personal liability insurance.
The gites are priced per week, irrespective of number of occupants. Only the number of people stated on the booking form may occupy the property, even if the maximum occupancy is not reached. The maximum occupancy of each property is as stated in the individual property details. The maximum number must not be exceeded at any time.
Whilst we have endeavored to maximise the level of sound insulation between the 2 gites and also within the gites (between bedrooms and bathrooms) we hope that you will have consideration for your neighbours, both those staying in the adjacent gite and those who live nearby.
Should we consider your behaviour to be unacceptable, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the gite. No refunds will be made.
Please leave the gite as you find it. This means
Cleaning bathrooms & kitchens – tops wiped down.
Hoovered through out.
Rubbish & bottles taken to the bins.
Alternatively if you have young children, are leaving early or just don’t fancy cleaning you may wish to take advantage of the end of stay cleaning service – €50 per gite.
Please check all details carefully
Arrivals from 4pm, departures before 10am.
We normally rent for 7 days, but can be flexible outside high season (July & August). Just ask.
We are English, but we have lived in France since 2003, after redundancy, in search of an "adventure" and to escape the City rat race. We've never looked back. We live here permanently, absolutely love the life and the area. So much so, that all our family now live in France within 45 minutes of us. None of us would even contemplate going back to the UK, it's great to visit, but for us, this is home. We went from being bankers to builders, creating the gites, to running our own business and love every day. We also love our free time during the winter, to go on holiday, whether it's cruising or diving or both. Or the odd building project for the family. Life is never dull and there's never enough time.
We wanted a challenge to renovate a property and that's what we got. It was a steep learning curve, but great fun and now we really enjoy seeing the pleasure on every one's face as they walk through the gate. An estate agent rang last week to see if we're interested in selling - I said "nobody could offer us enough money, we feel like we've won the lottery" especially now the hot tub has arrive.
