By booking this space you’re agreeing to follow Susan's House Rules.
We know that people feel most comfortable in their own home and we're hoping that by renting with me, you can enjoy that same comfort while on vacation or coming home from work.
Here are a few guidelines I’d ask that you follow during your stay – of course I cannot cover every detail but I'd ask you practice common sense and courtesy….if you have a questions feel free to ask anytime!
The house is waterfront, therefore, if you are traveling with small children, please be aware of their whereabouts at all times. The log cabin is in a remote area surrounded by wildlife native to the area. Be aware of the potential risks as if you were in a forest in a state park.
I am not responsible for loss of money, valuables of any kind, or for accidents or injuries to guests.
Even though I do permit animals to accompany you during your stay, I do ask that you be mindful while they are in the house or run in the yard. There is an additional cleaning fee of $25.00 for pets.
Smokers are permitted to smoke outside, however our home is 100% smoke free. If you do smoke outside, I ask that you be courteous when it comes to disposing of butts. I also ask that you keep all windows and doors closed while smoking outside.
I offer an outdoor grill. Please let me know if you plan to make use of the grill during your stay. Also, please be sure to clean the grill grates after each use. By using the grill you assume all responsibility and agree to hold us harmless.
Please be careful not to flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.
Absolutely no non-prescription drugs will be tolerated on the property or in the house!
Please ask me if you plan to hold a gathering which exceeds the number of registered guests.
I do have scented candles in the house. While I do not mind you making use of the candles I ask that you please use caution and only allow them to burn while you are present.
The house does have a wood burning stove, however please ask me before using it.
Please be mindful of the love and hard work I have put into the cabin to make your stay as comfortable as possible and leave the cabin clean and undamaged. If you are renting by the month, I'd be happy to provide you with a cleaning/linen-exchange service once a week at an additional fee of $50.00.
