Walk-out basement level suite offers a complete apartment boasting 10' ceilings with its own private Living Room, Kitchen & Dining area, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Full Bathroom with its own Laundry facility . 200' from the lake shore; offering fishing, swimming and nature.
2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry facility located in walk-out basement with beautiful views of the lake. Your family is welcome to use any of our floats that are available during your stay. An anchor will be supplied to you for the larger floats, so you can kick back and relax. Kids can bring additional floats, water toys - life jackets for children are highly recommended. The water can drop off at any point and gets deep quickly. Bring your kayak/canoe or feel free to use ours. Boat slip may be available upon request (please inquire). Shoreline is not sandy - beautiful pebbles, rocks and hundreds of shells to collect! We recommend you bring water shoes. You may want to bring fold out chairs for the lake front. We have two chairs, but larger families may each want their own. There is also a boat launch approximately 1.5 miles from our home and additional parking is available for your watercraft on an upper lot. Please note the maximum number of guests is 7.
Private access to your suite is down a small set of steps outside and around a slight hill. Access to and from the lakeshore is very close, but moderately steep - your calves muscles will get some exercise! If you have problems walking or climbing stairs, this is not handicapped accessible.

Другие важные подробности
In addition to the features of the home itself, the location offers a lot for the outdoor enthusiast: Boating, Fishing, Hunting, Golfing, Horse Back Riding and more! There is a fishing supply store a couple of miles from us with standard night crawlers, crickets, etc. We are located just minutes from Land Between the Lakes - the nature center, Wrangler's Horse stables, 1850's Living Farm and History Museum and Golden Pond Planetarium. Lastly, Patti's 1880's Settlement and Restaurant is 30 minutes away with the best thick cut pork chops you'll ever eat!
• Check-in time is 3PM.
No smoking, No excessive drinking - this is a family friendly home, not a college dorm party. No loud music. Small dogs 30 lbs or less are welcome. There is not a fenced in area, hence your furry friend will need to be on a leash while outside. If you leave to go site-seeing, we ask that your dog be crated. We, too, have a small friendly dog and you will occasionally hear her bark. This is a new home, not an old fishing cabin so please be courteous and remove your shoes before walking on the light-colored carpet. We want to keep it looking wonderful for all of our guests. Please bring garbage up to dumpster at side of garage when full and as you leave. Also please run dishwasher or make sure dishes are washed before you leave. Maximum number of guests is 5. We do have a rollaway bed available for use if needed.
After living in Michigan and raising our family, it was our dream to retire to the South and build our custom home. Finally we are both retired! My husband and I are so very blessed to live on the beautiful waters of Lake Barkley. You can often find us enjoying our coffee from our deck and watching the eagles soar over the water. Our little lap dog, Tessa loves to run down to the beach and sniff around at all of the shells, rocks, turtles and occasional flock of geese.
