I've been growing five kids in my apartment in holydays.
Since the first contact you knew that there's a 5 minutes climb to go downstairs and 10 to come up. If your kids and your old parents are not used to walk, better rent sth downtown. Ligura is a steep hill, I suggest Ramatuelle if you're looking for a flat place. Nobody asked to clean the terrace. It's a 200 sqm astonishing place, I only suggested you to hire my maid once a week (24 euros for three hours).
Four adults and two lovely kids, paying 200 euros a day! Why don't you go to a Pensione or something very noisy downtown? But 1 second from the beach. With 50 euros you can rent a small room for both of you, fifty more for kids, and another fifty for parents. If you stayall together could be a deal.
Regarding the huge amount of luggages you brought, and two enormous cars (exactly what you don't ned in Liguria), there's a parking downtown: 25 euro for each car. Sorry for used sock (where are they by the way?), I've found the floor really sticky and dirty, and a stinking garbage, but non problem for me, it's easy to clean.
There are no windows in the bathrooms, what do you mean? The maid's bathroom? With 30 and more degrees you need to close the windows? Why didn't you ask me, there's a way to lock the windows, of course, otherwise in winter rain would destroy the entire apt.
Respecting your point of wiew, let me give you a suggestion. Have a look at Googls' map before renting. And change your wishes. Believe me, less luggages, and a nice hotel close to the beach. Less is more.
But forget Santa Croce Hill. Too difficult! Nice meeting you.
