Beautiful studio with a private entrance, vaulted ceilings, bamboo floors, & french doors that open to a bamboo grove, koi pond, fruit orchard, chicken coop, and huge garden. Newly build modern bathroom with heated floors. Kitchenette with a new mini-fridge, coffee-tea maker.
We are located in idea proximity to downtown, the Whittaker neightborhood (known for microbreweries, artisan coffee and great restaurants. We are 6 blocks from the river and 2.5 miles from the University of Oregon.
We like to keep the studio and yard safe, clean, and comfortable for everyone (including our neighbors, pets, and daughter)
When in the studio, please remove your shoes. We have a gorgeous custom made desk for you to use. Please use coasters and treat it with care.
We like to maintain quiet hours in the yard before 8 am and after 10:30 pm.

I am a teacher, optimist, avid equestrian, accidental gourmet, and old school letter writer. I appreciate beautiful spaces, traveling, learning new things, and anything that has chocolate.
I have been fortunate to travel a lot throughout my life. With parents who are immigrants, big heavy suitcases and long overseas trips were frequent. So too were visitors that would stay for weeks and months. In my family every elder that walked in the door was called Aunti or Uncle. As a result my value in hospitality and sharing began at a young age.
The references posted relate to my home that I used to rent, not this studio but, the property is the same. There is one that might catch your attention… Unfortunately, I had a AirB&B nightmare last year. Shortly after passing over the keys to my house, my neighbors called to let me know that 4 men in their 20;s (not on the reservation) were trying to get into my garage. I swung by the house and found a scene that did not resemble the reservation request. Just want to add my two-cents in case it caught your attention.
